We sell our products through a Community Supported Agriculture Model or CSA. The USDA defines CSA as "a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farmland becomes, either legally or spiritually, the communitys' farm, with the growers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production. Typically, members or 'share-holders' of the farm or garden pledge in advance to cover the anticipated costs of the farm opperation and farmers salary. In return, they receive shares in the farm's bounty throughout the growing season, as well as satisfaction gained from reconnecting to the land and participating directly in food production."
At Rose Acres Farm we sell full season shares at a discounted price or more flexible monthly shares. Customers receive a weekly or bimonthly delivery of a variety of produce-mainly veggies, herbs and some fruits- that are ready for harvest on the week of delivery. The cost of the Farm Box includes delivery to your home, which we do in the early morning so your produce will be fresh and waiting for you before you leave your home in the morning.
Each Farm Box contains enough produce to supply a family of two for a week who eat most of their meals at home. Our goal is to have fresh produce delivered from our farm to your door within 24-36 hours of harvest! Visit our Online Store to sign-up!
